The Workforce Development & Education Special Interest Group of Utah’s Responsible AI Community Consortium is pleased to share the second edition of The AI Leadership Blueprint. Developed specifically for education, industry, and public-sector leaders, this practical guide provides a step-by-step roadmap to adopt, integrate, and manage artificial intelligence responsibly.
The blueprint distills complex AI topics into accessible guidance on leadership, risk management, policy development, and workforce training—making responsible AI adoption achievable for organizations of all sizes across Utah and beyond.
The blueprint reflects the consortium’s broader mission to unite Utah’s AI ecosystem in building technology that is effective, ethical, and inclusive. Toward this mission, the 2026 version includes:
- A new Glossary with definitions for more than 150 words used throughout the blueprint.
- A new Section 9, Strategic Agility in Forward Planning, on revisiting AI plans as tools, costs and risks change.
- A new Section 10, AI Cybersecurity Framework, providing insight on security risks posed by AI integration.
- A new Appendix J with a ready-to-use pilot card and quarterly review agenda.
- A new Appendix K with a clear set of questions for vendors of AI tools to protect your organization.
