Photos: One Year After Launch, Responsible AI Community Consortium Returns to Utah Tech Week
February 26, 2026
On Friday, February 6, as part of Utah Tech Week, about 50 people gathered at Kiln in downtown Salt Lake City for a Utah Responsible AI Community Consortium event focused on the consortium’s progress and the state’s AI future. Speakers and audience members emphasized the need for pro‑human policies and broader AI literacy—supported by training and shared guidelines, such as the AI Leadership Blueprint and the Portrait of an AI‑Ready Company.
This was the consortium’s second-consecutive year participating in the grassroots tech festival, following its official launch during Utah Tech Week 2025. One year later, the group is actively shaping what responsible AI should look like in Utah and continues to welcome all voices.
